הפעמונים

 

הפעמונים היא אחת הלהקות הישראליות המושמעות ביותר בחו''ל ובארה''ב בפרט בשנה האחרונה.

שני הסינגלים-Where Do I Go ו- Home Tonight מתוך אלבום הבכורה שעתיד לצאת ב 2015, נכנסו לפלייליסט במספר תחנות רדיו בארה''ב במהלך שנת 2014 והם מושמעים שם בקביעות.

שירים אלו זיכו את הפעמונים בחוזה פאבלישינג מול ענקית המוזיקה- IMAGEM MUSIC PUBLISHING.

 

בימים אלו ממש, הלהקה נמצאת בעיצומו של קמפיין הדסטארט לגיוס תמיכה באלבום הבכורה שנמצא בשלבי הפקה מתקדמים.

הקמפיין זוכה לרוח גבית ופרגון משמעותי מדמויות מרכזיות בתעשיית המוזיקה בארץ כמו יואב קוטנר, לאון פלדמן, אלון עדר, ג'וני שועלי, איציק יושע ובועז כהן מרדיו88 ועוד רבים אחרים.

 

ברק גרוסברג- גיטרות, רון אפרתי-בס, איתי רפפורט-תופים ועמרי ויטיס-שירה וגיטרה, נפגשו בחנות מוזיקה ברחוב אלנבי בתל אביב לפני כשנתיים. החיבור ביניהם היה מיידי וכעבור מספר חודשים הם התחילו להופיע במקומות כמו לבונטין 7, רוטשילד 12, האוזן בר, ריאליטי ריהאב סנטר וגם בפסטיבל יערות מנשה בו התקבלו בחיבוק חם ומפרגן מהקהל.

לאחרונה נפרד רפפורט מההרכב, עקב נסיעתו לאוסטרליה. טרם נסיעתו, הספיק להשלים את הקלטת חלקו באלבום הבכורה של הלהקה.

את מקומו של רפפורט תפסה המתופפת העצמתית עדי ריבלין. 

 

ויטיס, סולן הלהקה, חזר לא מזמן משהות של כ16 שנים בלונדון, שם הגשים את חלומו המוזיקלי בדמות מאות הופעות, חוזים עם חברות תקליטים, סינגלים בתחנות הרדיו המקומיות וגם מספר אלבומים שזכו לביקורות ושבחים במדיה הבריטית.

מאז שובו, זכה לשתף פעולה עם אמנים מובילים בארץ כמו אהוד בנאי, חמי רודנר (שגם התארח בהופעה של הפעמונים), שלומי אלון מהדג נחש ואחרים.

ויטיס מביא איתו נסיון עשיר, שירים עצמתיים ו"סאונד של חו''ל" אל הרכב נגנים צעיר ואנרגטי שלמרות גילם, הם מושפעים דווקא בעיקר מלהקות וזמרים מהשנים היפות של הרוק הקלאסי.

 

השפעות אלו באות לידי ביטוי ביכולות הנגינה המרשימות של הלהקה, שממלאת את המרחבים שנפרסים בשיריו של ויטיס בהרמוניות ומקצבי רוק אלטרנטיבי סוחף.

הגיטרות הפסיכאדליות של גרוסברג נמתחות כמו יריעות ענק של מסטיק אמריקאי של שנות ה70, בזמן שצמד הבס תופים-אפרתי וריבלין, דוהרים קדימה, עם גרוב בועט ומהודק, תוך שהם נועצים את השירים בעצמה בקרקע, תיבה אחרי תיבה.

התוצאה היא שילוב הומוגני בין העשורים המשמעותיים ביותר בתולדות הרוק, עם סאונד מחוספס, עכשווי, נטול יומרה ופוזה, בניחוח ים תיכוני מקומי ואותנטי.

 

כאמור, בימים אלו הפעמונים נמצאים בשלבים מתקדמים של הפקת אלבום הבכורה.

The Bells

 

The Bells (Hapaamonim), are a Middle Eastern, post grunge, psychedelic rock band, based in Tel Aviv.

Their influences range from Jimi Hendrix, Pixies, Cream, Nirvana, Queens Of The Stone Age and Led Zeppelin to 60s, 70s and 90s Israeli rock bands.

 

The band is currently promoting a Headstart campaign to raise money for their debut album which is due to come out in the autumn of 2015.

 

Since the release of the first two singles from their forth coming debut album, The Bells have enjoyed more international radio airplay than any other Israeli rock band in 2014.

The singles Home Tonight and Where Do I Go are currently on the playlist of several radio stations in The U.S.A .

on the back of these songs, the band was signed to IMAGEM MUSIC PUBLISHING.

 

Barak Grossberg-guitars, Ron Ephrati-Bass, Itai Rapaport-Drums and Omri Vitis-vocals and guitars, met each other in a music shop on Alenby Street in Tel Aviv in 2013.

It didn't take long before they formed a solid unit, based on a natural chemistry between the four of them.

Rapaport was forced to leave the band recently, due to his diparture to Ausrelia. Prior to his diparture, the band recorded their debut album which will be launched later this year.

Rapaport was replaced by Adi Rivlin who is well known Her powerful snare drum hits.

 

Vitis who is a British/Israeli singer-songwriter, has recently returned to Tel Aviv after having spent over 16 years in London.

In London he wrote, performed and recorded as a solo artist and with local bands. He released several albums and was signed to Fire Records (Pulp, Teenage Fanclub, Built To Spill) and later to Organic Records.

Since his return, Vitis has collaborated with some of Israel's leading Musicians including Israeli rock and folk legends-Ehud Banai and Hemi Rudner.

 

Vitis brings his experience and powerful tunes to a young and energetic group of musicians.

In spite of their relatively young age, these young musicians are inspired by the early days of 60s and 70s classic rock. These influences shine through their mature and skilful style of playing.

The band creates a thick groovy sound, which complements the dreamy melodies with a deep and driving force.

The result is an up to date, raw and powerful psychadelic rock sound, with a middle eastern feel.

 

This unique sound dominates The Bell's debut album.

Mistarey Hazohar is the first single in Hebrew from the album.
